Here is it, the first of October!
The month where a noticeable change happens with the weather from the beginning of the month to the end.
- The days get 1 hour 22 minutes shorter.
- It will be dark at 6 PM.
- The last 90 degree days have happened in October
- 80 degree days are common, but will be non-existent in November.
- There is a chance of snow in the air this month with an average of 0.1" falling.
- However the record snowfall for Boston in October is only 1.1" back in 2005
- The first frost will likely occur across most of MA except for the immediate Boston metro area which will be after Nov 1.
